My perfect drafts have been crashing in the first round before I even can click on any card.

Can you try this again with trace file enabled and dm me the file?

To enable the trace file:
- go to the settings on the main menu
- go to the troubleshooting tab
- select the second from the top "Write OOTP debug info into file"
- restart the game

To find the file you can select in the same menu the forth option from the top "Open folder containing debug files". The file should be named "ootp_trace_[start date and time].txt"

From everything we've seen, this looks like a connection issue,. where something is preventing the game from connecting to the servers.

The things to look at here are likely to make sure the game is whitelisted in your firewall and anti-virus programs. You might even need to look into your router's firewall settings and whitelist the game there. If possible, also try connecting through a different router or via a hotspot. Do you see any change then?

No, all the settings on my Mac are exactly as they should be whitelisting etc no firewall, connection is perfect, full bars on wifi, it's not connection. its every single time the same spot right as the draft loads the first round of cards.

This definitely appears to be a connection issue, one way or another. It's more just a question of why it's happening.

Full bars on wifi doesn't mean it's not a connection issue. If something is specifically blocking OOTP, that wouldn't change the bars on the wifi.

Like I said, this can even happen on a router level. I really recommend trying to connect through a another router or hotspot if at all possible and seeing if it still happens (which it may or may not, but that at least gives us more data).

Lukas, I tried hot-spotting and it worked. The images for cards returned and no crash on Perfect Draft.

If it's helpful for others, my internet carrier is Rogers (a Canadian telecom company).

Any guidance on how to whitelist a game on a modem?

You may need to get in touch with Rogers to ask them, I do not know off hand, because it's going to be different on different modems/security programs.

I would suggest talking to Xfinity support and seeing if they A. have a security program installed that you can whitelist OOTP in, and/or B. have router level security where you may need to whitelist OOTP there.

You're not the first one to have similar issues, I know we've had quite a few folks with similar trouble in previous years that were able to resolve things by talking with their ISP's support.

Ryan - found the fix with my provider, looks like its the same with Xfinity.

Follow this link to access your Wifis admin. On the left side you should see firewall.

To get it working, I had to change both the IPv4 and IPv6 settings from "Typical Security" to "Custom Security". Click on "Typical Security" and make sure "Disable Entire Firewall is checked off.

Once you save your settings, it should hopefully work!

If the specific steps mentioned above did not fix this, then it's just another security program on your system or router that's causing the issues. You'll have to find and disable this/whitelist OOTP in it, there's nothing beyond that we can do for you.

Posting repeatedly in more threads will not help us help you any more.

OOTP cannot turn off your system or router security when the security blocks OOTP from connecting, and as much as we wish we could help, there's nothing we can do on our ends to turn your security off for you either. If OOTP could do that it wouldn't be a game but a virus.

You can see above someone who had the same problem as you and what fixed it. It was something on their end, not something on our end.

If it was our problem, the boards and Discord would be filled with thousands of folks having this issue because no one would be able to see any cards or play. As it is, there's just a handful, several of whom solved it after following the advice on whitelisting OOTP in their security.

I'm super sorry this is happening for you, but all indications are that it's not something we can fix on our ends, however much we wish we could.

I also have the same issue.

Mac with no card images and PD crashing.

I didn't have this issue on OOTP 23 but I was on my older MacBook Pro.

I just got a new MacBook Air last week and I find it hard to believe that an out of the box new Mac is what the issue is. PT is zero fun with no images, no draft, and just a big let down.

I'm on the same internet provider in the same house with the same router as OOTP 23.
