Player Stats For A Specified Period

Will someone please describe how to view individual player stats for a specific/designated period?
For example, I have a new fictional league with 5 seasons played; but it has historical players on each team. Thus, the "career" stats shown in the program include real numbers for players prior to the league being created. I want the career stats for the 5 years of the new fictional league only.
Is there a way to calculate/view stats over a specified period? If so, I could use only the relevant 5 years of data. Or alternatively, if I can't specify the years to include, perhaps there is a place in the program that shows career stats for only the years since the league was formed.
Thanks for any help.

At game creation delete prior history. Don't know what you do now.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?

But where in the many program elements/pages/screens do I see the stats to include only since inception of the league (in this case it is 5 years)?
and also
Can I enter a specific number of years for which I want career stats, e.g. 3 years? If so, where in the many program elements/pages/screens do I do that?

Thanks for any help.

I've never tried it, but you should be able to export stats, edit them, and then import them.

Again, I've never tried it, so I can't say whether or not it'll do what you're trying to do.

Yeah, I think the game only gives you last year or 2 years ago or career. A rolling 3 year average would be a nice add, I agree, although since it's something the game would need to calculate, it might make a screen that displayed those numbers for an entire league take a little while to load (I mean, it's simple math but if it's simple math applied several thousand times there could be a stutter...).

Under MLB -- settings select the functions tab. There are multiple reset and erase functions.
