Coach Relationships

So what do pitching and hitting coach relationships with players mean, and what influences them?

The manual says that it's influenced by whether a player has the same focus as a coach (ie power hitters have good relationships with power coaches) but I've adjusted that stuff in the editor and it hasn't made a difference. I took two managers, one of whom had bad relationships with players and one of whom had good relationships, and edited them to have the same stats and it didn't influence relationships.

Also is this developmental relationship or personal relationship?

So the two things that made a massive difference were a personable personality and valuing scouting being very high & stats from 1, 2, and 3 years ago being very low.
