Anyone tried Random league yet?
I've not been happy with the highly inflated stats in random leagues in the past couple of iterations of OOTP. Has anyone run a random league yet? How are the stats looking?

What highly inflated stats have you seen?
I ran a 100 year sim using 1984 as my base/stat year. Run/game slightly high. Probably about 4.43 runs/game vs real life of 4.26. Batting average ran between .255 and .263 so very close to real life .260. HRs were very close to real life, I averaged about 1920 HRs, 16 teams and a 160 game schedule. ERA was very close to real life. Walks and KOs looked good also. Only 1 player hit above .400 in a season. 2 seasons of HRs in the 60s, 12 totals seasons where someone hit 50+ HRs. I used neutralized stats and neutral (1.000) park factors. Drafted/imported 7 rounds rookie draft. Injuries off and high fatigue. With my schedule most regulars started around 145 games a season. 5 man rotation start highest rested. I think the stats are the best I have seen playing random. 3 year double weight recalc.. Adjust/weaken set to 600/275 and 75/35.

That's great to know. Thank you. In 23 and 24 the HR totals seemed way high. I tried different start years. But it didn't seem to matter. I'll give random a go with 25.
