How to influence batting lineups

just a quick question, how do you make AI place the top hitters at the top of the lineup, eg mookie betts, on my save he always bats at the middle

p.s im using the royals, so manually changing it is every time quite the task

There's an option in the player's strategy page to force a player into a specific lineup spot.

Ditto, there's so many options to explore in the greatest baseball simulation ever. It's pretty mind boggling with the options

As has been noted, you can force start a guy into a specific spot in the lineup but not so much "the top" or "the middle of the order". I *do* find myself doing this quite a bit, as even when you manage games, if you have guys rest at all, any lineup change will tell the AI manager to re-arrange the lineup as they see fit.

some manager prefer number 2 instead of number 3 for best batter and you will be noticed by text.
