M1 Mac seems really slow
I've got a sizably complex whole world association. 160 Teams in MLB, with two levels of minors. 50 more teams in the associated International League. I've started it in 1901 and have it set to add historical rookies. Obviously with that many teams, there is a fair chunk of fictional players being created. My question is should it be taking over an hour to run a calendar year? If so, OK I get what I deserve. If not, where can I look to figure out what's causing the slowdown?
I see other comments about being able to rip off a full MLB season in like 5 minutes, so I would think that my thing which is essentially not much bigger than what is currently active for an MLB season should be comparable. |

That is a pretty big league. Why not create a simple standard MLB league and see how long it takes. I have a simple 16 team MLB league, no minors, and it just takes slightly over a minute to sim a season on my MacBook Pro m3. Even modern 28 team league takes less than 90 seconds to sim a season.
There are a few things you can turn off or change to speed it up like put perditions on demand or not use face gen etc..
