L/R splits for new batters
Hello,
long time player here with an issue I haven't seen before. In my league, it is 2031, and every batter that I look at has exactly equal L/R split ratings. For example, Juan Aburto (fictional player, age 26 in 2031, drafted in 2027 draft): Contact: 57 L / 57 R Gap: 69 L / 69 R Power: 75 L / 75 R Eye: 107 L / 107 R Avoid K's: 48 L / 48 R Every. single. batter. is like this. Is there some setting that I'm not aware of that I accidentally toggled off? Is this a known issue? It is kind of game breaking because it is no fun managing a team when the players have no differences in splits. May as well just put in your lefty hitter against lefties. It doesn't seem to affect players who are already present at game start, only new players created by the engine. Pitchers also seem to have the issue but not nearly to the same extent. Often they have an exact match but often they are off by 2-5 points which makes it at least slightly interesting. Thank you |

Workaround
Since I'm playing in commissioner mode, I will probably just generate some L/R splits for each player using RNG, and then edit the ratings directly, for my team.
But it would be good to know what is going on. |
