Player Ratings Updates?

Just a quick question about player ratings. Do they get updated at any point after release to reflect how a player is performing in the current season or do they just remain at the base level they were at release of the game?

For example Ramos of the Giants would his ratings change to reflect the season he’s having since coming into the side?

In each update there is an improvement in the ratings, especially for the players that are in the draft since there is more information about them.

About players in the MLB they also update ratings but you have to understand that a player can have about two months at MVP level but this is not necessarily direct to a significant increase in ratings, since the sample is very small.

Normally the changes in the ratings go from 5 to 5 on the 20-80 scale or you even have to go into the player's editor to see a change.

The ratings are updated in each patch release, requiring the user to start a new save to take advantage.

Once you start a save with a particular set of ratings the game development engine takes over(depending on your settings). They do not continue to get updated externally like the Perfect Team ratings do(I believe monthly).

Many thanks. I had read that the updates need you to start a new save which makes perfect sense but that’s good to get it confirmed so thanks for posting.
