OOTP Update 25:7:30

Hi, I'm finding this a confusion. The update download clearly words it as BETA but to my knowledge I don't have the BETA version. I tried to download it as a Single location file but I think it crashed half way through or if it didn't this is a new laptop and I don't know where to look or what to search for.
Can you offer me some guidance on what I should do, please?
It may well seem very straight forward to you but I have severe amnesia and to me it is not. I am only ok with things I do regularly and therefore have familiarity with. Anything else simply provides a distraction that I can do nothing with. To explain, I can keep one line of attention but as soon as another is involved they simply jumble together and I can understand neither.

Sorry this is happening to you.

The current version is build 80, not 30. So make sure you have 80.

Sometimes patches are released as "public betas". Personally, I view all public patches like betas. If something is really wrong, they'll usually fix it quick.

To do that, go to the start screen, then to 'settings' > 'troubleshooting' > and then hit the button that says 'force game data re-installation'. Or if you're on Steam, right click on OOTP 24 in the Steam client, then go to > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files.

That should fix any corrupted files and give you a fresh install.

If that doesn't work, then the next question would be if you are using a custom data path?

If you are, then it's possible the install is not correctly moving all files over to your custom location.

To fix this, manually copy the entire data folder from the OOTP default installation location to your custom data folder location.
