Tortorella out! Patrick comeback on the Flyers bench

Nolan Patrick makes a Flyers organisation comeback as new head coach for the new era. In today's newspaper, he described his hockey philosophy as energetic and hard work and excited to lead the Flyers into the season.

Board expectations are "not last" pretty down talk to the team I would say, there´s a few teams that I see not will be at our level but I can be wrong.

First season goals is just to find a tactic style suited for my philosfy, if we make the playoff it would be great but will not be to sad if we miss out on that. Next thing is to get salary cap under control for the upcoming years, we will start the save with some pretty bad contracts that we will have to find solutions for.

Pre-season has gone ok with a 3-4-0 record, opening night lines will be like below.

A big surprise is in store with Noah Cates in first line, it was between him and Scott Laughton but I felt that I really needed a strong defensive center in the 4th line so with that pick the only remaining spot where the left wing in 1st line. Our 2nd and 3th has find a good chemistry in the pre-season so where not willing to splitt them right now from the start and thinks Cates- Couturier-Konecny looks nice.
Michkov and Luchanko we hope to be future to build around and they will start on the lower lines to get their feet warm before the expectations will rise.

Season went on a rocket start with an 8-1-1 opening and it just getting better as long season went and we finish on 103 pts to win the Metropolitan division.
A dominant offense with 307 goals forward and a killing boxplay at 87% was the dominant force to a great season.

Michkov went pointleader at 82pt with Tippett ending at 43 goals

Unfourtently we got upset by the Devils in first round lossing 4-3 after being up 3-2. Fedotov with SV% of 92.2 record 3 losses in 4 games wich normaly would be enough to make trough next round.
