2025 Schedule

Sorry if I'm missing it, but does anyone have 2025's schedule handy? Would love it for realism's sake. I've been having a rough time with schedules reflecting accurate home/away splits year-to-year with interleague play and adding a 2025 version would make things easier to bounce between that, 2024, and 2023 to vary things and ensure the new balanced schedule rules are in place. I'm sure a lot of this is user error but always looking for an easier route!

Cheers team!

Keep in mind the schedule format is changing slightly in 2025. Interleague games are increasing from 46 to 48 as the 'traditional rival' series becomes two 3-game series instead of two 2-game series. Consequently, the number of non-division league games drops from 64 to 62.

Note also the 2024 and 2025 schedules have the early overseas opening series, while the 2023 and 2024 schedules have the midseason overseas series in London. You may wish to edit the schedule files to remove these overseas series thereby converting the schedules into fully standard season versions.

More edits to the 2025 MLB schedule will be necessary to convert it to a standard arrangement now that MLB has announced several series have been swapped around to accommodate Tampa Bay's 2025 temporary home.

FWIW, I scraped MLB.com today to get what they have as of now. It looks like the recent Tampa Bay changes are reflected there. There are a lot of "TBD" gametimes, but otherwise it seems correct for what we know now.

I got something that looks as expected in in the statistics (e.g., everyone plays 162 with 81H/81A and offdays seem reasonably set), though I am a smidge less confident in the file since it is a separate process to compile it than I would use for a created schedule.

I will put one version that is as-is, i.e., the Tokyo series is there and starts the season "early". Then there will be another version that moves those two games out of those early positions and uses them to make a 2-game LAD@CHC series in April into a 4-game series so the season begins on traditional Opening Day.

At some point I'm going to go through the 2023 and 2024 MLB schedules and edit them into the 2025 format as well as cleaning up any little oddities they might contain. That'll give users three full schedule files in the 2025 format they can choose between.

gmo, it's a very minor thing so don't feel pressured, but I was wondering if we could get an updated version of the modified (normal Opening Day) schedule with updated start times/any changes that happened over the off-season, if any.

I repulled from MLB dot com, and rebuilt everything. Looks like the TBD game times are all gone, but I did not do everything to check that. Again, the main issue I can imagine is with the team index number for the A's not matching what the OOTP 26 configuration is.
