Fired After back to back Cups??

I just won back to back Stanley cups. The only goal I didn't reach was drafting a player from the teams home state. Is this a thing?
Also, the computer trading my players on waiver day at the start of the season is ridiculous.

Also, for the Rangers and Islanders clicking "use nickname instaed of name" does not seem to be working.

Could you upload the save where you got fired (instructions here)? I'd like to see the exact circumstances. I've made some changes to the firing logic, but I want to make sure I've caught all the possible loopholes that could do things like this.

The AI trading of waived players will be fixed in the next update.

Looks like the editable "use nickname" option isn't working correctly in the game, we'll take a look at that (it works fine for teams who start with that option on, so it must be something in how it's updating the edited version; the editable reverse names option does seem to work OK.)
