Is there a way
Can I list my fully boosted Pie Traynor when there's a once boosted Pie listed for the minimum?

Any Combinator that gets sold on the market automatically drops back down to Level 0 once the transaction goes through and somebody buys it. So, in essence, there is no difference between a "fully boosted" and "once boosted" card on the Combinator card shop.

So the devs carefully picked and chose
among all of the possible ways to handle combinator cards and consistently chose the options to make the cards as illiquid as possible.

Come on, Dish
There's no way to quicksell a combi card..
The artificially high base prices for the combi cards discourage a large percentage of your customer base from buying them. Some theme team guys (Bunktown's White Sox) have a few fully boosted golds, but even for a theme team they are mostly bench players at this point in the cycle. And I burned up about 25K "combi points" to boost my diamond Pie Traynor so I could us him for 2/3 of a season in a gold league while I completed the AL East PTE missions to have Gunnar for my 3B, and now I find that there's no way to sell a card that would probably have value for a tournament team right now because the card is treated no differently in the AH than a base combi card, and in turn that base combi card won't sell because the base sell price is artificially high. So yes, from my perspective, this combination of decisions by the dev team has made the combis (a) more or less useless for non-tournament players, while (b) freezing those who don't have the PP's available to acquire and boost combis out of most of the tournaments, and then (c) making it virtually impossible for those who play the live tourneys to qualify for PTCS and PTMS tournaments to compete in those events because they get thrown in with the combi teams. Oh, one of my teams has a fully boosted HR Baker, and he does quite well at upper level play. But I don't choose to invest my resources to collect enough of those guys to make it to PeL. And I find that there would be no way to sell him for George Brett level prices because the new owner would have to go through the boost process all over again, which would drive the open market price of that card way down compared to what I had to expend to boost him in the first place. |

Yeah
Why should I do that with a card I can (and did) boost up to George Brett level performance?
My point has always been that the nominal prices for the base level combinator cards are miles too high to encourage liquidity. And the fact that you failed to consider the possibility of selling a boosted combinator card so that the person who invested the resources to boost that card can recoup his PP investment in the boost was just thoughtless on your part. |

i agree that it'd fix the feels bad of having a card be surpassed if you could resell it. hopefully in the next version that is considered more. |

If it could be profitable, and why wouldn't it be if people with funds could be saved all that hassle, someone would exploit it. In this version at least, that would have made it even more miserable for a lot of players to get into combis.
