Game suddenly shutting down when trying to play out games

I've been an OOTP supporter for about two decades and buy nearly every year. My newest version is 24, but I still have a game that I play on 19. I just like the feel of it.

I'm 25 seasons in playing out most games manually. I've never had a problem until yesterday. I played out a game like normal. Proceeded to the next day. My team was off, so I simmed to the next game, got to the lineup screen and the game shut down.

I repeated the process. It let me replay the last game again (because game didn't save progress before shutting down). Simmed the off day and then it shut down again when I tried to start the game from the lineup screen.

I've tried everything over two days and couldn't get past that point. I backed up my game, uninstalled and deleted everything from 19 and previous versions, then went to redownload the game, but have now had three failed download attempts from this page:

Help! I really don't want to lose this league I've spent so much time with.
