Is a team restart possible?

I read a post awhile back about someone who waited until later in the season to start one of the three teams allowed with their license. I would like to give that a go, but I already have three teams.

Is it possible to start one of them over (with the loyalty bonus packs)?

Thx.

This is my team in its 7th season. We're in Silver, thanks to DS losses in Bronze (a big upset) and Silver (ran into a better team). All cards >100 OVR unless noted.

SP
- Roy Halladay, my first 100+ pack pull, 32K PP earned in 202 starts, more than half in Bronze and below. Currently my 5th starter.
- Walter Johnson, pack pull, 25K PP in 155 starts.
- Paul Skenes, pack pull, I think from a perfect pack, 19K PP in 97 starts.
- Mathewson, mission reward. 3300 PP in 70 starts, mostly in Silver. 2.59 career ERA. Eventually, you build up enough of a historical card inventory that the older high-level card missions are doable.
- Corbin Burnes, mission reward earlier today. 2 starts, I think he's pretty much equal to Skenes and Mathewson in quality of card.

RP
- Griffin Jax, closer, PTE Elite mission completion, now it's probably cheaper to just buy him in the Card Shop.
- Hunter Greene, stopper, a useful card type for the role with great numbers and not enough stamina for the rotation.
- Joe Rogan, setup, a mission reward. Definitely a straight buy now, and a VERY useful card to have. 32K PP earned as a starter at lower levels, better as a reliever
above Bronze though. The first mission I went after, and I don't regret it at all even though I probably burned well over 100K PP for a card currently available in the CS for about half what I paid for him.
- Mason Miller (99), Raisel Iglesias, Blake Snell - MR corps, all mission rewards or toppers and all easily affordable now.
- David Price, pack pull, has been effective in the role in limited opportunities.

C
- Ivan Rodriguez (96?) - He's there to manage the staff. Recent straight buy.
- Cal Raleigh (97?) - Mission reward, great glove, destroys low level pitching, exposed at the Silver level.

INF
- Freddie Freeman, 1B, mission reward.
- Mookie Betts, 2B, mission reward, replaced Paul Molitor near the end of the 6th week.
- Gunnar Henderson, 3B, PT Elite topper, now just a straight buy, has been very effective.
- Willy Adames, SS, PTE topper, now just a straight buy.

OF
- Shohei, LF, pack pull. Sometimes it's better to lose in the playoffs, after my DS loss in Silver last week I was looking for a way to improve my team. I saw a mission with a perfect pack reward that I could complete for 26,333 PP, so I pulled the trigger. I'd say I hit the bull's eye.
- Cobb, CF, mission reward. This took a bit of effort, but he's still a top tier card.
- Tatis Jr., RF, pack pull. My first big hitter pack pull. 47K PP earned in 907 career games, so I suspect he came shortly after Schilling.
- Yordan Alvarez, PTE topper, a heck of a bat and can hit lefties.

Bench
- Heinie Zimmermann, bought in order to acquire Cobb, one of the most despicable characters ever to play the game but a heck of an infielder card. He bumped Molitor from 2B to the bench and was in turn bumped by Mookie.
- Corbin Carroll, everybody should have him. He's a really good 4th OF and won a batting title in Silver for me as a CF before Cobb. Do the mission to get him ASAP.
- Joey Votto, 1B, pack pull. He played 1B for a bit over a season before Freeman, had an 8 WAR season in a Bronze league.
- Artie WIlson, INF, bought to complete the Rogan mission, for some reason I got him at a really depressed price for the time.

The program
1. Start with the live 20 missions. Find a mission with a relatively weak diamond reward, use that, and QS him. Unless any gold or higher looks like a spectacular bargain, QS them too. You will quickly make them obsolete. Complete the live 20 missions for that division.
2. Continue with the live 20 missions division by division, selling off cards as needed for PP's. Keep Kluber for a while, he's pretty useful at least through Bronze.
3. Finish off the live missions division by division.
4. At this point, you can start using excess PP's for straight buys. I recommend your first 3 be Rogan, Gunnar, and Raleigh. But I could be overlooking somebody really obvious, and you may have had a big pack pull that makes Raleigh unnecessary.
5. Start completing the "throwaway" missions with RPK rewards. Do them only if you can complete them for <300 PP per pack you will receive. You will get hundreds and hundreds of these packs and you will see your PP balance climb along the way. Obviously, you are selling off any dupes and or irrelevant toppers from the live missions, but be careful - some of those toppers are used in later missions. I recommend you keep a list of the ones you want to keep.
Work your way into the PTE missions. But be aware that many of the team rewards are easily upgraded, and Jack Flaherty and Zach Wheeler also get surpassed easily.
6. Start working missions to fill your weaknesses.

You may not have the pack luck that I have had, but many of my pack pulls have come from perfect pack missions. I recommend you do them only of you have to spend 40K or less to complete the mission. YMMV.

Remember that all live diamonds are essentially around to be quicksold. Avoid locking them up, especially for the "Meet the New Perfects" where you need to forego 140 K worth of QS PP's to get a 60 K Perfect pack. Sell all the cards, buy two PPK's, and pocket the 20K.

Good luck. If you find any other ideas to speed the process, or get a particularly good team, please share here.

Yes, you get a fourth team with GO, but you have to create the team while using GO and need the usual spare email address for the new team. Or, you could buy a new copy of OOTP and get three more teams. Doing this should allow you to run all six teams in PT26 when it starts. I haven't checked to see if it's cumulative, but I purchased an extra copy last year or the year before and have been able to run all the teams I set up in previous versions, which is more than the normal three-team limit.
