Creating a Hall of Fame League

I'm looking to create a Hall of Fame League. I would be taking the Hall of Fame members, select their best statistical year and place them in teams. It would be similar to the old Earl Weaver Baseball game. Any suggestions on how I might do that?

The easiest solution would be to select new game, New Quickstart Game, and load the All-Time Greatest file.
