NHL Hall of Fame nominating non-NHL players

Standard game, current rosters, spring 2025, Hall of Fame nomination.

The game has nominated some players who never played in the NHL, and some who only played a few games. In this case all players in question made their actual career in the Finnish Liiga, and now they're nominated for NHL Hall of Fame...

That's intended, two of the nominee spots are reserved for players who had significant non-NHL careers, the way the real Hall has included guys like Tretiak, Kharlamov, Nedomansky, etc.

Also should be noted that it's not the "NHL" Hall of Fame, it's the "Hockey" Hall of Fame.

It is in all but name.

There is a separate International Hockey Hall of Fame, which I believe is not the one depicted in FHM.
