Early release

Question. Does the early release hit at midnight tn (and if so, which time zone) or should I go to sleep and wake up at normal person hours lol

Usually afternoon on the USA east coast. Monitor your email. And check back here, sometimes the link gets here before some people get the email. 1 small bit of advice, find your licence key, copy to a document and save to your desk top. Can save a bit of time.

Yeah i wouldn't stay up all night waiting for the release.
I can't remember if they ever released the game at midnight.
I think they are usually double checking everything.
On the bright side i've never seen them postpone the release from the announced date.

Oh, ye of short memory

Was it 23 or 24 where the release was at least a week later than normal?

I dont believe so.
I take the day off or I'm on vacation when the game is released and I don't recall not getting the game during that time.
I think it might have taken longer in the day for the game to release or a patch was delayed but I dont remember the game being postponed.
But I could be wrong.

I remember when it released in June one year. Good times.

It was 23. To be clear, the announced release date was a week later than normal, but the release itself was not late. IE was announced on March 18th and came out on the 18th, or whatever date it actually was.

The only thing I find scary is if my wife wants to talk to me on release day. By now she knows to just nod and smile when she walks by. That's way married couples act in Cajun Country

I seem to recall something happened between ootp 6.5 and ootp2006.
Was it that there was no release after ootp 6 and 6.5 was kind of a feature pack until ootp2006 was released.
I may be wrong but i just remember they were changing to some new system and there was no whole game release that year.
We did get 6.5 which was a lot better than nothing at all.

OOTP 23 came out in late April '22 because of the lockout.

I don't remember if there was something else that coincided with that.

Check your spam or if you have your receipt from when you bought the game the code will be on it and you can download from this forum.
