Minor League Players Being DFA'd

But not by me. I am constantly being stopped in autoplay because I have a number of minor league players who are out of time in DFA. The problem is I did not DFA them and I have myself set to control everything except promotions/demotions, lineups/depth charts, ML player strategy, and ML development focus. This is the same as I have always done. Someone is getting released every week. Admittedly none of them are useful players. I also noticed that none of them have any ML stats accrued. I tried to put players back on a ML team only to have them released again a week or so later.

I saw in another thread where someone got this to stop by taking control of the ML player strategy and ML development focus settings.

Sounds like there might be a bug currently when those are in AI control?

Could you try that and report back?

I changed the ML focus development but not the other because I don't want to have to control player strategy on all my ML players. It only happened one time for 1 player the rest of the season after that change.

All these DFA guys are promoted from the International Complex.

This is a new game mechanic we're using where players who are signed or promoted from the complex get put in the DFA list for a bit so the AI has to do less constant re-arranging of the minors.

This may be the intended way that it functions, but something seems to be off. The same players are getting DFA'd multiple times a year, all the way from rookie league players through the top levels of the minors.

Are they low potential players? If they are "filler" types that the game is moving around to make room for the real prospects at the various levels this description would make sense.

Most are 1-1.5 star with occasional 2 star. And I kinda agree with what you are saying but I would rather them just be released rather than DFA'd and causing my autosim to be stopped when their DFA time is up. I ran into another issue today that I am gonna post a different thread about cause I want to make sure they see it.
