2 way player not DHing. Line up auto filled

I have a 2 way player. Most of the time I only have him pitch and not DH, in those games. In the past I would have a blank spot in my lineup. But now the lineup is being auto gilled and batting order changed. I have all my reserves set to never start. I had skip DH when pitching and turned that off. I want complete 100% control of my lineup. And this has worked for several seasons till now.

I found a temporary fix. I set my normal lineups as custom. But I need a permanent fix. Thanks
