Transfering Saves between OSes?

What's the easiest why to transfer saves between Mac and PC?

PC save files are .ootplg; while saves on mac are just the lg directory. Steam Cloud Save is on, but that's also not showing me saves between devices.

Are you looking to sync the saves or transfer them once?

The important thing to transfer is the save folder. If you have Windows Pro, make a save folder a shared network folder. Connect to the Windows machine on your Macbook. You can then copy between computers from the Macbook.

I suggest working on a wired network if possible.

On PC the .lg folder is my saved_games folder. I use 7zip to zip them up and copy them to a USB drive before I do a clean install and such.
