IIHF Roster - Can't select some players

I'm coaching GB in Division 1-A (I'm not currently coaching a club team).

When I look at my list of possible players on the day the tournament starts, I see all the players I should be able to select as normal but some of them can't be added to the active roster.

There seems to be absolutely no reason for this, they aren't injured, retired or involved in any ongoing club playoffs, yet the "Add player" option is simply missing for those players, including my best goalie (despite the fact I can select other players from his club) which is annoying.
