How to keep teams rosters I don't manage up to date

I am having difficulty keeping teams rosters I don't manage up to date.
Let's say I look at the current roster for the Angels for example and I see that the roster in OOTP25 has players that are either injured, not on the team anymore or in their minor league team. Also players on the team are not on the roster. If I go to remove a player sending him to the minors or some other action and I go to the list to add a player through searching and come back to the teams roster it automatically updates the roster with the players I removed or adds what it wants . Not keeping my changes.
I hope this makes sense.

If you're playing historical lineups and transactions, the only players you can count on being on the MLB roster are the regular players. If you are not playing with that setup then players will go where ever the computer manager wants to send them.
