When does the Hall of Fame update?

I searched as best as I could for this question, but, possibly on account that I just registered and had some difficulty navigating, wasn't able to find anything.

My question relates to starting a live start 2025 season and when the Hall of Fame votes should be included.

In reality, the balloting for the 2025 hall of fame election was carried out, completed and announced by January 21 2025 for induction in July 2025.

But in game this didn't happen, I ran the whole 2025 season, 2026 rolled around and I was given the chance to vote. I didn't, so as to see what the games own judgement would be. Ichiro was inducted, with 83% of the ballot, Wagner got in with a touch less, and CC Sabathia didn't get in at all.
