If I didn’t already hate the Yankees already…
… on my current dem (year 2049), the Yankees high priced free agent robed me of my closet shot at having a triple crown hitter on my roster by hitting eight home runs in the last two weeks of the season to slip ahead of my guy, ending the season three home runs shy of leading the American League in the three triple crown categories. ☹️
Although it was unexpected to even this player get close, especially this guy who is only a rookie. He’ll have to be satisfied with MVP and ROTY. I’d give him a long term contract right now, but I’m sure he’d mysteriously start tanking once I do! 🤣 |
