2024 L/R splits in 2025 game

A while back I started a thread about the new historical pitcher L/R splits which now go back to 1914. I also noted that the 2024 L/R splits had not been imported into the regular 2025 start. Garlon noted that the file had been updated to include L/R splits throughout the 2024 season, yet these still do not appear in game, is there anything I'm doing wrong?

The historical player splits have been updated in the file for historical games through the 2024 season. However, when you play the 2025 season, the player ratings are custom made from some type of projections. I am not involved with the process of how those 2025 season ratings are created.

I understand, however I am referring to the actual 2024 stats which should be visible on the player career page, all current players have the L/R splits show up correctly for the seasons they played, excepting the 2024 season (for example a player like Pete Alsonso has splits vsL for 2019-2023 but not for 2024). Could this be because the Lahman Database has not yet been updated to include 2024 stats?

That sounds like the updated file may not have made it into the game yet. The file was ready before launch though. Maybe it was overlooked in the push to launch the game. I think the same was reported about the neutralized stats for the 2024 season.

Any idea when the file will be incorporated into the game, if at all?
