OBJ exporter for SketchUp with OOTP specifically in mind

So for years, I've been using TIG's OBJ exporter to get files out of SketchUp into a format OOTP can use, which works but requires some post-processing. With the help of ChatGPT, I have altered the ruby script to make it a one-stop script for exporting SketchUp files for OOTP.

What does this do that TIG's original script doesn't?

• All exported texture images are converted to PNG files.
• Any textures that end in _day (skyline_day, parking_lot_day), etc. get a corresponding _night texture created as well.
• All of the _night texture files are then darkened using ImageMagick.
• Any of the seating textures I generally use (which I got from silvam14's stadium textures, see below) get replaced with the appropriate reference to OOTP's 3d crowd textures:
  • newmtl crowd_new_1
  • newmtl crowd_new_2
  • newmtl crowd_new_3
  • newmtl crowd_new_4
  • seating_attendance1_blue
  • seating_attendance2_blue
  • seating_attendance3_blue
  • seating_attendance4_blue
  • seating_attendance1_red
  • seating_attendance2_red
  • seating_attendance3_red
  • seating_attendance4_red
  • seating_attendance1_grey
  • seating_attendance2_grey
  • seating_attendance3_grey
  • seating_attendance4_grey

What are the caveats?

• ImageMagick is required. The script may work without it, but the night textures will not be darkened, and I guess it may break the script. I don't know, I didn't test it without ImageMagick available.
• This script has only been tested using the Windows version of SketchUp Make 2017. If you are using another operating system or another version of SketchUp this may or may not work for you.

Just unzip the attached file into C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\SketchUp\Plugins, or the equivalent for your version of SketchUp. If you have TIG's exporter it will still be there, this will add an additional "OOTP OBJexporter..." option underneath it in the File menu. So what do you have to lose? Nothing. Nothing, I tells ya.

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to take realistic stadiums and fictionalize them with putting a baseball field inside the playing dimensions (thinking classic soccer pitches converted to baseball stadiums).

I gave it a try but wound up getting critical error that told me to check the debug files but none were generated. I think it is related to stadium seating as it works in 3d model mode but not during game play.
