MLB 2K Faces

Here is a sheet of the 'generic' player faces that were used in the PS2 MLB 2K Baseball games. They appear to be sketches or perhaps some sort of early digital models. I think they were created sometime around early 2005 or there about but I could be wrong.

I never noticed this until now but it would seem as though many, if not all of these faces that are re-used over and over for guys who don't have actual pictures as well as the fake players are actually based on real unrelated guys. Some of these seem a bit obvious upon seeing some of the pictures in MLB 2K6. I wonder why they chose such oddly random guys to base them off of (like really Mike Ryan?)

Now I kinda want to try and "decode" who each one is based on.

Possibly Rob Mackowiak? Maybe? I'm uncertain about this one but haven't seen anyone who looks more similar.
