Perfect Team World Championship #1 Formats Announced!

In case you missed it last night, here are the six tournament formats that will comprise the Perfect Team World Championship #1 that will take place next weekend! The field for the tournament will comprise the top 128 teams in the game ranked by numerous factors, including league play, PT Live, weekly leaderboard points, and the results of the PTCS and PTMS tournaments conducted so far!

Traditional Tournament 1: Bronze Floor/Gold Ceiling, 1848 Cap, 1999 Run Environment, with DH, Variant Cap 8, Chemistry On, played at 1977 Oakland Coliseum, Best of 9 (starts at 11 a.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 30)

Traditional Tournament 2: Quadruple Round Robin – 8 advance from each pool to Best-of-9 playoff, Max-Boom Era Cards (Cards with years up to 1979 can be used), 1525 Cap, 1979 Run Environment, NO DH, Variant Cap 13, Chemistry On, played at 1971 Dodger Stadium (starts at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 30)

Traditional Tournament 3: Open Tournament, Default Run Environment, with DH, Variants On, Chemistry On, played at 2025 Great American Ballpark, Best of 9 (starts at 11 a.m. ET Sunday, Aug. 31)

Perfect Draft 1: Original PD, Default Run Environment, with DH, with LE, Chemistry On, played at 2025 Wrigley Field, Best of 9 (starts at 10 a.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 30)

Perfect Draft 2: Mixed Bag PD, Quadruple Round Robin – 8 advance from each pool to Best-of-9 playoff, 1998 Run Environment, with DH, with LE, Chemistry OFF, played at 1995 Coors Field (begins at 9 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 30)

Perfect Draft 3: High Heat PD, 1971 Run Environment, with DH, with LE, Chemistry On, played at 1979 Candlestick Park, Best of 9 (begins at 10 a.m. ET Sunday, Aug. 31)

The standings should hopefully be finalized in the next couple of days, and the prizes will be revealed in the coming days prior to the tournament!
