Schedule request: weekend league

I'm looking for schedules for 3 weekend leagues


1) 2 divisions, 8 teams each, 45 game schedule. 3 game series vs. every other team in the league, either home or road.

All games Friday-Sunday.

All-star game on a Tuesday in July


2) 2 Divisions, 4 teams each, 45 games. Two 3 game series vs. out of division, one 3 game and one 4 game series in-division. All series either home or road.

All games Fri-Sunday, 4th game for in-division series on Thursday.

All-star game on a Tuesday in July.


3) 2 divisions, 6 teams each, 45 game schedule. 3 games out of division, 6 vs in-division.

All games Fri-Sunday

All-star game on a Tuesday in July.


In real life, all of these would need alternating 2 year schedules to make the home and road all even out, but honestly I don't care.

For the last one the numbers do not quite work out right.

"2 divisions, 6 teams each, 45 game schedule. 3 games out of division, 6 vs in-division" would be 5*6+6*3=48. Could make it two games against half the interdivision opponents, then do four schedules do get the home/away balance even for the set. But I wanted to get your preference before go ahead with something.

Let's keep it simple and just cancel that, and do 10 teams instead.

2 divisions, 5 teams each, 44 game schedule. 4 games out of division, 6 vs in-division.

4*6 + 6*4 = 44

Having a problem with the 8 team schedule.

When I import it I get an error message saying my league settings are for 42 games (they aren't); but when I change the settings to 42, it says it can't import because the league has a different structure (it doesn't).


16 team schedule works perfectly!

My mistake... Open the file(s) in a text editor like Notepad and change the piece at the top to...

The four game series should be all in a row, Thurs-Sun. This is generating some 2 game series, and the season runs a week too long.

If this is a huge problem to fix, nevermind.

Ugh, issues... The original I had just set to start a week later than I intended. Attachment has been updated to change that. I did intend to have some 2-game series (a pair against one opponent) because that makes so home/away is balanced per team, and I thought 13 weeks might be on the short side since the others were 15 & 14 weeks.

Also added new version that has all 4-game series, so 13 weeks, so unbalanced per team home/away in one schedule but evened out in the pair of schedules. So this one should start later like the other did but end same day as the others. Hopefully I have everything as intended, but let me know if not.

That's actually a great point about 13 weeks. Hadn't even thought about that. Anyway, they both work, so it's all good!

14 team league. 45 games, 4 games vs. division, 3 games out of division, Everything else the same as all the rest.
