PTMS Revamped and PTMS 1 Formats
Hello, everyone! We have an exciting announcement about the Perfect Team Masters Series, and what's planned for PT 27!
The Perfect Team Masters Series will undergo a change in PT 27. Instead of one tournament and one Perfect Draft to determine the two PTMS champions, we will have two multi-competition events held in one day. The PTMS will remain on two separate tracks; one for tournaments and the other for PDs. However, there will be three of each played to determine the PTMS champions, adding more drama and variety to the formats and roster builds. The system will use the PTWC competition points structure, so the PTMS competition standings will follow this format: • 1st: 125 points • 2nd: 100 points • 3rd-4th: 75 points • 5th-8th: 50 points • 9th-16th: 35 points • 17th-32nd: 20 points • 33rd-64th: 10 points • 64th-128th: 5 points o Tiebreaker: PTMS Qualifying Place Please note that these points WILL NOT be used for the PTWC standings, and only the final placing will be awarded points. These are the final standings points (These count towards PTWC): • 1st: 300 points • 2nd: 100 points • 3rd-4th: 75 points • 5th-8th: 40 points • 9th-16th: 20 points • 17th-32nd: 5 points • 33rd-64th: 2 points • 64th-128th: 1 point Prizes for Individual Tournaments for PTMS 1 in PT 27 1st 1x Historical Rainbows 2nd 1x Historical Perfect 3rd-4th 1x Perfect 5-8th 1x Historical Diamond 9-16th 1x Diamond 17-32 1x Historical Gold 33-64 1x Gold PTMS 1 Formats Tournaments PTMS 1 Tournament 1: Best of 9, Negro League-Historical Legends-All-Stars, 1820 cap, 1992 RE, DH on, Variant Cap 9, 1991 Cleveland Stadium, 10am ET (time of launch not first sim) PTMS 1 Tournament 2: Best of 9, Gold and below cards up to 1949, 1949 RE, DH off, Variant Cap 12, 1948 Briggs Stadium, 10:30am ET PTMS 1 Tournament 3: Best of 9, Defensive Era to Live+ (1980-2026), Default RE, DH on, Variants on, 2026 Truist Park (Atlanta), Slots (6 Perfect, 6 Diamond, 5 Gold, 4 Silver, 3 Bronze, 2 Iron) Perfect Drafts PTMS 1 PD 1: Original PD, Best of 9, 1987 RE, DH on, LE on, 1977 Wrigley Field, 10am ET PTMS 1 PD 2: Historical PD only 20 cards, Best of 9, 1950 RE, DH off, LE on, 1940 Rickwood Field, 10:30am ET PTMS 1 PD 3: Ladder PD, Best of 9, Default RE, DH on, LE on, 2026 Yankee Stadium, 10:50am ET 20 cards PD Round 1: Pick 1 of 6 Perfect Round 2: Pick 1 of 6 Diamond Round 3: Pick 2 of 6 Diamond Round 4: Pick 2 of 12 Gold Round 5: Pick 1 of 12 Gold Round 6: Pick 2 of 12 Gold Round 7: Pick 1 of 12 SIlver Round 8: Pick 2 of 12 Silver Round 9: Pick 1 of 12 Silver Round 10: Pick 1 of 12 Bronze Round 11: Pick 1 of 12 Bronze Round 12: Pick 2 of 12 Bronze Round 13: Pick 3 of 12 Iron PTMS 1 prizes will be announced closer to the event.

One of my teams made it to the semis of PTMS 3 yesterday but the prize suite received was for 9th-16th so Jerry Denny was the top prize. A bit confused why I didn’t receive the cards up to 3rd-4th place?

I believe there was a point system for multiple PTMS formats. Not just one.
