I don't see any reason for them to rush out a new patch. The game, to me, is significantly more playable right now than 26 even was on its last patch. The devs deserve a ton of credit for that.

Yeah, while there are some small issues that need cleaning up I believe anything game breaking has been taken care of. The ones that stick out to me are some player card issues. The drop down date sort on the batting/pitching logs. Advanced stat have issues while playing out games, and advanced pitch stats aren't working right. I know there are others but these are the ones I notice the most.

I think they are at a point where they want to fix as many of these smaller issues as possible in one patch. I'm all for it being sooner rather than later, but I'm also fine being patient and letting them be thorough before they release.

I'd like to see the game logs in player profile move back to the most recent 5 games...2 is just pointless. I just don't understand why they would change it from 5 to 2, when it's been 5 for 20 years

The UI is also choppy/laggy...sometimes it takes two clicks on a button as the first click doesn't register. Clunky.

I guess overall, it's better than the way 26 was left...

Could be possible screen resolution has some bearing on it.

I'm on an Ultra Wide, 3440 x 1440. Maybe that makes a difference.

Oh man, if I could get back to 5 games in the game log by fixing a setting...that'd be fantastic. Here are my current settings, where did you select ultra wide?

I don't understand why it would only show 2 games on mine and 6 on yours. It's always been 5 for me every single version...why the difference now?

It shows me 4 when I'm in a game I'm managing, and 2 when not in-game. What the hell...

What is said here sort of outlines my hopes for what could be in a future patch.

I play at ultrawide resolution and there are just a lot of UI adjustments that could be made. Things like the tournament bracket during playoffs have elements that either run on top of one another or run off screen.

Then would be roster management. In my save yesterday I was able to pick up a 1B on waivers at the trade deadline who was selected as a All-Star with 25 HRs at the break just 2 weeks prior, 4 years service time too. Kind of broke my save for me in my opinion.

I started getting 5 on mine in the v59 update.

Thanks, this did not solve it for me though...how did you set a resolution AND maximized? Maximized is under the Resolution drop down for me.

I'm also scared of maximized lol...last time I tried that my screen got huge and I wasnt able to access any buttons, if you check out my "Oh no" post.

I may have to learn to live with just 2 but damn that's pointless...i really hope next patch solves it for me. It's odd that I get 4 when I'm managing a game...2 when not...you're getting 5, another person is seeing 6.

Another thing of note, I have my windows desktop scaling custom set to 100, which I'm pretty sure it would normally try to default to 125 otherwise.

Have you tried changing that windows scaling option in the game? You'd need one of the other ultrawide users to let you know what they're doing.

Here's a couple data point for comparison.

With the settings I posted previously I get 5 logs.

Default font, and very small size I also get 5.
Default font with small text size I get 4.
Default with standard size I get 2.

When I fire up the borderless gaming app so I can run fullscreen windowed (a must for multi-monitor users) those figures are 6 for very small and small, and 4 on standard.

Ya I need to have the DPI scaling always off or the game is very tiny on my screen. If I use any other setting besides "Small font size", things are scrunched up and overlapping

How do you change the Windows Desktop Scaling? is that a computer setting and not an OOTP setting?

It's a windows display setting, buried in the same place you would change resolution/orientation/brightness, etc.
