Shopping players this year?
Just shopped Jorge Mateo and every single team in the league is offering my 5 players. A lot of good relievers.
I don't understand why teams are falling over themselves trying to get Jorge Mateo? |

Check the salaries of the relievers offered. The AI has mastered the art of dumping salaries, particularly long-term contracts. Doesn't mean the guy isn't good, but rather rebuilding teams can't afford such luxuries. Nor can you, unless you are both wealthy and successful.
Also, where is your trade difficulty setting? My understanding is that moving the slider to Easy will yield lots of generous offers when you shop a player.

The game has also programmatically undervalued relievers for...ever. It's so cheap and easy, even on maximum difficulty settings, to build a top 5 bullpen.
