International Complex
Is there a way to control or reduce the amount of promotions from the international complex?
Every year, I have guys that are 16 years old and have awful ratings (1 out of 100) that are promoted from the International Complex. See Below - happens all the time The following players have been promoted from the international complex, either because they have reached the age limit or because they should be ready to face the minor leagues: Hector Peneda (16 - Dominican Republic) Orlando Rodriguez (16 - Colombia) Rich Garcia (16 - Dominican Republic) Gerardo Ruiz (16 - Dominican Republic) Omar Dionisotti (16 - Venezuela) Karl Bolt |

Are you looking at overall or potential ratings as being awful? How many empty slots do you have in the complex?

I wouldn't mind having the ability to restrict callups in some way.
Ideally the way I play I'd like to split up the manager delegation options so that my assistant can continue the standard minor promotions while I handle who/when players leave the complex. Those 16/17 kids rarely have any business being in rookie ball. |

Here are the rosters for both DSL teams....loaded with youth, but they should still be in the complex!
I have a lot of Dominican players with low ratings on other low minors teams taking up spots. |

During Beta when I brought this up (players being moved out of the IC at 16) this is what Lukas had to say about it.

I do wish there was an option to automatically send 0.5 star potential prospects to the glue factory instead of to the DSL. I clean them out a couple times a season, but it's a little tedious.

From the overview page, you go to the roster, the top left is a dropdown box, choose the entire organization, sort by potential, then you can just click on the circles next to the players you want to release, and release them en masse.
This might make it a bit easier.

When I receive the email from my scout saying he found someone, if they are below 2 stars, I released them right there so as not to clog up my Int Complex

Same. Given the age limits I have for the low minor leagues in my universe, if a two star guy can't at least plug a hole on my Rookie ball team by the time he's 19 he's gone too.

I never release any player until they prove to me, through their play, that they don't belong in baseball.

What would happen if you turned the age minimum of the DSL to 17? Think that would prevent them from being promoted?
