Lightbulb Schedule Request for my Super 16 Baseball Season 1

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a custom OOTP schedule for a fictional 16-team baseball league with the following specifications.

League Structure

16 teams total
2 leagues of 8 teams each (American League and National League)
No divisions
Balanced schedule
Team Key

NYY
LAD
BOS
SFG
OAK
STL
DET
ATL
BAL
CIN
CLE
PIT
CWS
PHI
MIN
CHC
Regular Season

30 games per team
Double round robin
Every team plays each of the other 15 teams exactly twice:

One game at home
One game away
I would like the schedule split evenly so that:

The first meeting with every opponent occurs during the first half of the season.
The second meeting with every opponent occurs during the second half of the season.
If possible, I’d like the schedule arranged to eliminate repeated starting-pitcher matchups so the same pitchers are unlikely to face each other twice during the season. I understand this depends on rotation settings, but I’d appreciate any scheduling approach that helps reduce duplicate pitching matchups.
Postseason
The regular season is followed by two separate playoff brackets.

World Series Bracket

Top four teams from each league qualify.
Quarterfinals: Best-of-5
League Championship Series: Best-of-7
World Series: Best-of-7
Commissioner’s Cup Bracket

Bottom four teams from each league qualify.
Quarterfinals: Best-of-5
League Championship Series: Best-of-7
Commissioner’s Cup Championship: Best-of-7
All-Star Events
After the regular season and before the postseason, I’d like to hold two separate All-Star Series:

Top AL All-Stars vs. Top NL All-Stars (Best-of-7)
Bottom AL All-Stars vs. Bottom NL All-Stars (Best-of-7)
I realize the All-Star Series and playoff format don’t affect the schedule file itself, but I wanted to explain the complete league format for context.

If anyone already has a schedule that closely matches these specifications or would be willing to generate one, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

First a question... 30 games, over how long? I.e., how frequent are offdays, and any break between the halves? One option would be 5 weeks with one offday per week (could be all teams off same day or have two consecutive days with some teams off one and the rest the other) and no break between halves.

As for the playoffs and All-Star, I do not think there is a way to accomplish those. My experience is that the regular season and an All-Star Game during the season can be controlled by built schedule.

For playoffs I think you could get pretty close with the custom playoffs settings, but it would be only a single bracket and thus require the winners of the two layers to play the final series. No way to my knowledge to have separate brackets in the league. An outside-the-league tournament might be possible with manual effort. I have never done tournament stuff though.

For All-Star, I think the game much be within the regular season. And it is a game. As far as I know cannot have series or multiple games.

Lightbulb Super 16 format details

My apologies I needed to clarify that this will be for a Youtube channel league.... dont worry about ASG or playoffs I need a regular season schedule.... 30 games per team lets have games on Monday- Thursday 2 games each day (my upload plan) so that each team plays once a week. That way itll make it easier for repeated pitching matchups to not occur. Please let me know if you had any questions or concerns Thanks!
