(very small) Bug in calculating hitting streaks

In a solo league, Jerry Royster was listed as having an 8-game hitting streak. However, mixed in between those 8 games, he appeared in several games as a defensive replacement (without an at bat).

The 8-game hitting streak really was an "8-game hitting streak in games which he got an at-bat"

I think "hitting streaks" per se take in to account any game in which the player appears.

In fact, a player can even come to the plate and not lose the hitting streak:

Quote:
Consecutive Hitting Streaks: A consecutive hitting streak shall not be terminated if the plate appearance results in a base on balls, hit batsman, defensive interference or a sacrifice bunt. A sacrifice fly shall terminate the streak.

I think it was implemented so that the hitter wouldn't be penalized for smart play, i.e. choosing to work the count to take a walk.

That's unfair to penalize guys who will actually swing the bat and help the team though.
