Create Files in OOTP5

Accidently, the files in my Create Folder were messed up. So, I contacted a friend of mine, and had him send me his create files so I can put them into my create folder. I did all of that, but now when I try and load OOTP5, I get a message saying INVALID PLAYER FILE, and then the game closes.

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

Reinstall the game and move your league files to the new version of the game.

I can not reinstall the game, as one of my civilings gave the Order Number to someone else.

You can install the game 6 times on the same HD if you have the order number and game installed once. Also, if someone did give your order ID away "ILLEGALLY" to someone then you need to contact http://www.elicense.com and see what the Via-Tech folks can do about getting that order ID back. Provided you can prove your purchase.

BUT, if I reinstall the game, it is going to ask for the Order ID, and most likely when I put the Order ID in, it will give me some message saying the number is already in use.

I really did not want to redownload the game, as I am on dial-up, and downloading large files take forever

IF the game is already installed and working (besides the problem you are having, i.e. if the files were there it would work), then the game can be installed MULTIPLE times.

Will I need to put my Order ID into the game when it downloads, and will I have to carry all of my personal leagues and other leagues into the new OOTP5?

IF the game has been installed and worked BEFORE and now you deleted these files and so it will not work, but it did work previously on this same computer then NO ID is needed the game will see the previous one. You will need to move the leagues though.

In windows as you would move any file, cut or copy them from one place to another.
