Game Freezing at FA Period

I started a historical league in 1901 and I have not added the expansion teams ever. I am currently in 1973 and decided that I wanted to add four teams. I added them and then every time the game froze at the free agent period, so then I decided to get rid of them. I still continue to get the problem. It says receiving computer offers, but then when it says next round it crashes and I get the error message:

I believe this may have been caused when you added the expansion teams if they didn't have 25 players, the game can crash.

Check the FAQ forum there are both historical and fictional Expansion FAQ's to peruse which will tell you how to do expansion so that the game won't crash.

Either that or perhaps something has gotten corrupted.. which means you'll either have to put up with it or scrap the league.

Those are my guesses.

Is there anyway for me to find if a file is corrupted, and if so, how?

Not that I know of. I have found that especially when you are about to make some league changes that it is good to make a backup copy of the league then make the changes, that way if you have a problem you can always go back to that backup copy.
