I listed my problem, but I decided to add some more information to it. Sorry for the additional post. Here is my original:
<< I just got a new computer...here are the specs: HP Pavilion 510n, 1.2 GHz, 40 GB I installed Season Ticket Baseball, got the 1.3 Patch, and Rolen's Rosters. Now here is my problem. I am simulating a season, and I have the Mets under "Human Control." I am simulating games by the week, and every time a Mets game comes up on the schedule, I get this error "STB.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." When I re-load the game and go back to the schedule, and click "simulate" on the Mets game, it either gives me the same error, or it sims the game. If it does sim the game, the statistics for that game are not recorded. In othr words, a win or lose gets added to the standings, but it doesn't record the stats for the starting pitcher of that game, or the batters. I checked to make sure that I had a 25-man roster, and everything like that, and everything was filled out correctly. >> I tried simming wih another league file not using rolen's rosters and the problem did not happen, so there is something with rolen's rosters that is not meshin well with the game. I tried some further simming, and the game has completely gotten stuck simming on my Mets game on April 15th. Even when I re-run the game and move some players around, etc, this happens. Please let me know if you can help me. By the way, before I got my new computer (last night), I had Rolen's rosters downloaded to my old computer (just yesterday) and I was getting the same error. Can someone please help me? Thanks again. |

Next time you can edit your original post, it will help keep any help you get in one place and make it easier for you (and us who read these) to get help.
If you have check all of your lineups, depth charts and pitching rotations to make sure that they are completely filled out, then generally you shouldn't see this problem, assuming that all the computer teams are valid. To correct this you can click on League Setup, then under the League Setup menu run computer manager, this will automatically fill everything for each of those teams. Do you have any injured players in the lineup without backups in the depth chart? Perhaps this could cause the issue.... (Just a guess) The only time I've seen any issue with the game not saving the stats from a game I played is if I had an ill timed computer crash, so that is kind of odd, out of curiosity how much RAM do you have and what other programs are running in the background while you play? Perhaps you are running out of memory and this is causing the issue? (Again just a guess) |
