Ok, so it seems my topic is not getting any posts, so I can fix this. I am just going to ask this, because you all know the problem. DOES ANYONE HAVE WINDOWS 95?

From the Support Section of the OOTP3 Website, in the FAQ Section:
"When I start the game, it gives me the message "Required .DLL file not found: MSIMG32.DLL" Do a search on your PC and see if you have that file. If not download by searching online for it. Either way "copy" it to your \windows\system32 or \windows\system folder." Here's a URL to get the .dll: Click Here Edit - Went to the old board, saw that you don't have WinZip. That could be a slight problem. Edit Again - E-mail sent to you, just put that .dll in your windows/system folder, or your windows/system32 folder. I have tried sending him the file before but perhaps if you are running Windows95 he'll have better luck this time.

This may be the problem - here are some quotes from the net after a search for MSIMG32 and Win95.
From The Visual Studio Code Project: "...which reside in msimg32.dll. As far as I know, this DLL is not part of Win95, it is included in MS OSes starting from Win98 and WinNT 4.0..." Here is quote from Torry's Delphi Page: It is based on gradientfill function of msimg32.dll shipped by Windows 98 and 2000. And these quotes from Planet Source Code: well it seems to that a required .dll file is missing, where is it? and It's just too bad that TransparentBlt works only under win98+, so it's quite useless until everyone gets rid of win95 and I'm sorry, but i didnt realize that the "Msimg32.dll" is a win98/NT/2000 thing... (darn 95 users... UPGRADE ALLREADY!!! =) If these sites are all accurate then it might mean OOTP cannot be run in Win95 due to the Msimg32.dll issue. Has anyone here played OOTP3 on Win95? I think OOTP2 was playable on Win95 anyway. |

Then my question is different now. Can I download OOTP2? If so, where?
