Why does OOTP3 show players leading the wrong league in statistical categories? ie. Why does it have someone in the NL who has 37 homers and when you look at league leaders, he is shown leading the AL in homers and not listed in the NL??

I have not had that, have you moved some teams around(changed divisions, etc)?

I haven't seen this in the league leaderboards, but you will read this in the in game PbP if you have realigned the league (changing a team from league one to league two (this also effects the record books)), when I've seen this the leaderboards were still correct.

Sorry, meant to say that it happens during in game PbP. I initially created a league with two 14 team divisions, but then I added 2 more teams to one league before I started any playing or hiring, etc. I guess this is what causes that problem from what I've read so far on other posts. OOTP is a great game and I can't wait for OOTP4!!

I'm not sure about that, but if you didn't follow the <a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=5&t=000008" target="_blank">expansion tutorial</a> then you will have some sort of problems.

What he describes can occur with any kind of expansion (even following my tutorial) on occasion. Its related to the team numbers and league alignments problem and as a result causes similar errors to the change of alignment problems, (wrong league in PbP, and in record books).
Kingfc22: No cure for this at present time, sorry. |

On the bright side in my brief tests this evening it looks like OOTP4 has fixed this problem.
