This is a longshot, but since this place is a magical archive of longshots...

Has a Topps Vault image of Mario Ramirez with the Mets ever come to light? He was with New York in an era where they shot most everybody.

A good color snap of Ramirez as a Met has proved frustratingly elusive. The photos of him in Mets garb that I know of:
-- a not great yearbook picture or two
-- a B&W snap used for the Nobody Beats the Wiz card set
-- a B&W shot of him fielding (shows up on eBay routinely)
-- a not very compelling Tides card

Any help would be amazin'. And if not, thanks for reading and the wait continues....

Never saw a Topps negative of him with the Mets, either at auction or in the files.

However, during my photography days I got him during that cameo in 1980. Cleaned it up a little.

Recently came into my possession, from the Astros' club shoot from Spring Training 1966. There's about seven of him, all pretty much the same pose - this is the best of them.

There are many Baerga/Padres images floating around, but they all show him prior to his debut, when he was with the Padres in 1989-90. Found on Getty, mis-labeled as 2001, this is the first image I've seen of Baerga with the 1999 Padres, and while it's not ideal, it's good enough to remove him from the UIN list.

I located a woodcut of Mike Drissel(l), who played for the 1885 St. Louis Brown Stockings. He was a member of the St. Louis Police Department and the woodcut appeared in a July 26, 1897 St. Louis Republic article that details his participation in a baseball game between the PD and Fire Department.

The article also features a woodcut of P. McKenna, who I believe may be Patrick McKenna, an 1877 St. Louis Brown Stockings one-gamer, who as per Peter Morris was a St. Louis Policeman.

The photo below was printed in the St. Louis Star on July 2, 1922, of the policeman's club twenty seven years earlier, reportedly from the day before they played the firemen. I believe that refers to the same game. Included in the photo are Pat McKenna, Darby O'Brien, Mike Drissell, John (Jack) Kirby, and Long John Healy. The photo can be found on Newspapers.com.

Also included is a player names William Sullivan. I know there was a William Sullivan who played a single game for the St. Louis Maroons in 1884. I do not know if this is that person, as an article from the Globe Democrat in 1897 states his profession was a butcher.

Additional note: "Long John" Healy is probably better known as Egyptian Healy.
