The player IDs all appear to be correct when checked on BB-Ref.

Manager facegens use First_Last.fg so the fix is for AESP or I to make a facegen that uses the 70's player's Minor League Historical ID and then that will load first.

Try those two to see if they work for you. I think you can pick the FG you want if you use the picture function menu.

Just a fast observation as I see that often in the Facial type categorization in the game: People from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Bahamas aren't of hispanic decent they are of African descent. Those countries were not Spanish colony they were English one.

Negro Leaguer and member of the Salón de la Fama Mario Ariosa (ariosma01 / ariosa001mar) is listed with the nickname "Homero" in the database. I can't find any source for this nickname, but Seamheads lists Homero as the name of his brother, so perhaps there's some confusion there. Also, Spanish-language Wikipedia lists his death date as 1-20-1992.

Here's a minor one, literally -- long-time minor leaguer Danny Claire (claire002dan) has no biographical data listed. He was actually the brother of major leaguer Davey Claire and has a bunch of info available on BR. However, his PoB is listed wrong there -- it should presumably be the same as his brother: Ludington (not Lundington), MI.

Tony Ferreira (ferrei001ant) is listed with a Caucasian facial type in the database, but I'd say that he is hispanic.

You can check his baseball cards to help you decide.
